There are lots of benefits to volunteering, as well as supporting others to live happier, healthier lives. Volunteering is a great way to boost your CV, develop your skills, grow your confience and meet new people.
As a Walking volunteer you will:
• Help people in the community to get active and healthy, providing vital support that they otherwise might not get, while staying active yourself.
• Get to know others and become part of our community of walkers and volunteers.
• There might be a possibility of receiving training and ongoing support as part of a recognised and respected programme (coming soon).
• Develop and strengthen your skills. Learn how to be a great leader, find out more about marketing or enhance your database skills. Have a look at our VOLUNTEER roles or suggest a role and please do contact us to find out more.
